Yang to Yin Yoga

Experience a blend of dynamic movement and deep relaxation in our Yang to Yin Yoga class. This class begins with an energising sequence (Yang) to build strength and warmth in the body, followed by calming postures (Yin) to develop flexibility and work on being in stillness.

We encourage participants to keep their cameras on for personalised guidance. To enhance comfort during the Yin postures, please have yoga props such as bolsters/cushions, blocks, blankets and a strap available.

The class moves at a slow to medium pace, similar to Beyond Beginners.

You can use your membership, class pass or pay-as-you-go to attend Slow Flow Yoga.

Who’s this class for?

This class is for people who want to practice a mix of energising postures and slower postures in the same class.

This class is not intended for complete beginners.

How accessible is this class?

You will need to be able to get up and down from the mat several times in this class.
There will be some wrist and knee pressure during the yang section of the class but you can use blankets or double your mat to cushion your joints.

What format is this class offered in?

We offer Yang to Yin Yoga on Zoom only.

How long is the class?

Yang to Yin Yoga classes are 60 minutes long.
